Engagement & Preliminary Checks
Sign a formal engagement/service agreement with our firm
Run internal Know-Your-Client (KYC) screening: sanctions lists, politically exposed person (PEP) checks, adverse media searches
Confirm eligibility of all included family members (spouse, children, parents/grandparents, siblings where applicable)
Provide a checklist of documents each applicant will need to gather
Document Preparation
Valid passport copies for every applicant
Birth certificates, and marriage or divorce certificates where relevant
Police clearance certificates from every country lived in for 6+ months over the past 10 years
Medical certificate confirming good health and no contagious disease
Proof of the lawful source of investment funds bank statements, tax filings, business ownership records, or sale agreements
Bank reference letters
Passport-style photographs
CV/résumé for the main applicant
Notarization, certified translation, and apostille of any foreign-language or foreign-issued documents
Formal Submission
Completed application forms filed for the main applicant and each dependent
Application and processing fees paid upfront per person
Filed exclusively through a licensed international marketing agent working with an authorized local agent in Grenada direct filings aren’t permitted
Documentation forwarded to the CBI Unit, with financial documents also cleared through a Grenadian bank
Due Diligence Review
Conducted by Grenada’s CBI Unit alongside internationally recognized due diligence firms
Covers criminal background, financial history, and reputational checks across all jurisdictions the applicant has lived in
Mandatory interview for every applicant aged 17 and over, conducted remotely
Due diligence fee charged per adult applicant; typically waived or reduced for younger dependents
This is usually the longest stage of the process most delays happen here if documentation is incomplete
Approval in Principle
CBI Unit issues a formal letter of approval once due diligence clears
Only at this point does the applicant wire the NTF contribution to the government’s designated account funds are not required earlier, limiting your financial exposure
Remaining fees are settled at this stage: passport fee and Oath of Allegiance fee
Oath of Allegiance
Administered remotely through the agent no travel to Grenada required
Certificate of Naturalization is prepared and issued following the oath
Citizenship & Passport Issuance
Applicant is entered into Grenada’s citizenship register
Certificate of Registration is issued
Grenadian passport is produced and couriered to the applicant
Process is complete full citizenship rights, transferable to future generations
