Step 3 : Application Submission and Initial Government Fees

  • Application officially submitted through the CBI portal.
  • Local Agent issues an invoice for initial government fees.
  • Fees must be paid before proceeding to the next stage.

Step 4 : Due Diligence Investigation

  • CBI Unit begins its due diligence process.
  • Comprehensive background checks are performed.
  • Applicant’s file is reviewed to confirm program eligibility.

Step 5 : Review and Feedback from the CBI Unit

  • CBI Unit may raise comments, request documents, or ask for clarifications.
  • Feedback goes to the Local Agent first.
  • Local Agent relays feedback to Broeck Citizenship.

Step 6 : Application Amendments

  • Broeck Citizenship coordinates with the applicant on requested corrections.
  • Amendments are made per CBI Unit feedback.
  • Updates reflected in both the online portal and physical file.

Step 7 : Submission of the Physical Application File

  • Physical file prepared once amendments are complete.
  • Sent by courier to the Local Agent’s office in Dominica.
  • Enables continued in-country processing.

Step 8 : Decision from the CBI Unit

  • CBI Unit completes its assessment.
  • Formal decision is issued.
  • Local Agent promptly notifies Broeck Citizenship of the outcome.

Step 9 : Payment of Final Government Fees

  • Applies to approved applications only.
  • Broeck Citizenship arranges prompt payment of final fees.
  • Required before certificates can be issued.

Step 10 : Draft Certificates of Naturalisation

  • Issued by CBI Unit after final payment is confirmed.
  • Drafts are for verification purposes only.
  • Official certificates follow once drafts are approved.

Step 11 : Verification of Draft Certificates

  • Broeck Citizenship checks drafts carefully for accuracy.
  • Reviews all personal details of applicant(s).
  • Flags discrepancies to the Local Agent by email for correction.

Step 12 : Request for Official Certificate of Naturalisation

  • Occurs once drafts are verified and approved.
  • Local Agent formally requests official certificates from CBI Unit.

Step 13: Passport Application Submission

  • Original Certificates of Naturalisation received by Local Agent.
  • Passport application submitted to Dominica’s passport authority on applicant’s behalf.

Step 14 : Passport Delivery

  • Passports sent to Broeck Citizenship’s office once issued.
  • Secure delivery coordinated to the applicant.
  • Marks completion of the process.
