To obtain Dominican citizenship through the Economic Diversification Fund (EDF) route, applicants are required to make a non-refundable financial contribution, with the minimum amounts outlined as follows:
For a single applicant | USD 200,000 |
For a main applicant plus up to three eligible dependants | USD 250,000 |
for each additional dependant under 18 years old | USD 25,000 |
for each additional dependant aged 18 or older | USD 40,000 |
Beyond the primary EDF contribution, the following fees must also be covered:
Application processing fee | USD 1,000 (applies to each application) |
Due diligence fees | USD 7,500 for the main applicant , USD 4,000 for each dependant aged 16 or older |
Enhanced due diligence: May be required based on the applicant’s citizenship or other specific personal details;
Certificate of Naturalisation fee | USD 500 per individual |
Mandatory interview fee | USD 1,000 for every applicant aged 16 and above |
